About the project

The shop started in autumn 2018 i w and in a short time its assortment has grown to several thousand products. Gorabbit.pl offers automotive parts and accessories for most brands on the market. The shop stands out in the market with its exceptional level of customer service, very competitive prices and a clear non-obvious brand.

The challenge

Our task was to develop a strategy for sales development, marketing communication and optimisation of all marketing activities in terms of return on investment (ROI). A significant market challenge was high price pressure (especially low margins in the car tyre and car oil categories) and fragmented competition.

What actions have we taken?

WE HAVE DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED A COMPREHENSIVE MARKETING ACTION PLAN WHICH INCLUDES:

preparation and technical optimization of the shop for organic SEO positioning
advanced configuration of Google Analytics for enhanced e-commerce and micro events
implementation of tools to understand user behaviour on product pages and in the shopping basket (heat maps, click maps, account registration blockers, reasons for shopping basket abandonment)
implementation of consumer surveys in order to learn about the good and bad sides of shop operations, including the collection of feedback on the offer and the shop's pricing policy
expansion of sales channels by launching the shop's presence in marketplaces (Allegro) and price comparison services (Ceneo.pl, Skapiec.pl, okazje.info, Nokaut.pl)
optimisation of product feeds and implementation of a proprietary script for the integration of Magento feeds with price comparison services
launch of sales via Google Shopping Ads, Facebook Ads, and segmented remarketing
implementation and development of an affiliate programme

Results

The shop is increasing sales and optimising sales margins month to month. In the first 12 months we achieved sales of several million PLN. The challenge for the coming months is to continue to increase sales and optimise return on investment.
